WHO: Aspartame May Pose Carcinogen Risk, Evidence Weak

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared aspartame a possible carcinogen, although limited evidence exists to suggest this. Aspartame is the artificial sweetener used in a variety of foods and drinks, and it has been around since the 1960s.
