US Industrial Output Up, Still Below Last Year's Levels

Despite a rebound in industrial production in May, overall US industrial production is still lower than it was this time last year. The Federal Reserve reported a 0.4% increase in production from April to May, but a 0.4% decrease from May 2018 to May 2019.
