Magnitude 3.7 Earthquake Occurs Off the Coast of San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO — A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was registered early Friday morning off the coast of San Francisco, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake occurred approximately 3.1 miles northwest of Daly City and was reported to be about 5 miles deep, situated roughly 2.5 miles offshore. The tremor was felt around 7 a.m., but officials have indicated that there are currently no reports of damage or injuries.
